Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains exactly when InviteCraze will refund a payment and when it will not. Please read it before you pay.

Last updated: 5 September 2026

Refund available

If you have paid but your invitation has not been published, you can ask for a full refund.

No refund

Once your invitation is published and live on its public link, the service has been delivered in full and the payment is non-refundable.

Why publishing is the cut-off

InviteCraze is a digital service. The moment your invitation is published, it becomes a live website on its own public address, ready for you to share with your guests. That is the entire product, delivered instantly and in full — it cannot be returned, unsent or un-shared afterwards.

This is also why we let you do everything else for free. You can choose a design, fill in every detail, upload your photographs and preview the finished invitation on any device — all before paying anything. By the time you reach the payment step you have already seen exactly what you are buying. Payment is what turns it into a link you can send to your guests.

When you can request a refund

A full refund will be issued if any of the following applies:

  • You paid but your invitation was never published — for example the payment succeeded and publishing failed on our side.
  • You were charged more than once for the same invitation. We refund the duplicate charges in full.
  • Money left your account but the order did not complete at our end. Gateways sometimes hold such amounts and release them automatically within 5–7 working days; if it does not return, write to us and we will trace it.
  • The published invitation is unusable because of a fault on our side that we are unable to fix within a reasonable time after you report it.

When a refund is not available

  • The invitation has been published and is live on its public link. This is the main case, and it applies even if you published it by mistake, changed your mind, or the event was later cancelled or postponed.
  • You no longer want the design you chose. Every design can be previewed in full, free, before payment.
  • You are unhappy with content you entered yourself — names, dates, photographs or wording. You can edit these at any time, free, for as long as your invitation is online.
  • Your invitation has reached the end of its life — 10 days after your wedding date — and has been deleted. That is the stated term of the service, not a fault.
  • Your account was suspended for a breach of our Terms and Conditions.

If your event is postponed you do not need a refund — sign in, change your dates, and the same link keeps working. Your deletion date moves with the new wedding date automatically.

Cancelling before you publish

Nothing is charged until you choose to publish, so there is nothing to cancel beforehand. You may simply stop at any point and your draft stays in your account. If you have paid and not yet published, contact us and we will cancel the order and refund it.

How to request a refund

Email hello@invitecraze.in from the address on your account, within 7 days of the payment, including:

  • The email address you used at checkout
  • The payment or order reference from your receipt
  • Your invitation link, if one was created
  • A short description of what happened

We acknowledge every request within 2 working days. Approved refunds are sent back to the original payment method within 5–7 working days. How quickly it appears on your statement is then up to your bank or card issuer.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before raising a dispute with your bank. Almost everything is resolved faster over email, and we would rather fix the problem than argue about it.
